Hi my name is Wil Bos and I live in the south of the Netherlands, in a city called Eindhoven, very close to Veldhoven, the town where I was born on 19th August.

Music and dancing have always played a huge part in my life and by the time I was thirteen,
I was playing in a band, which I continued to enjoy doing, for the next 15 years.
At the same time, a second interest of mine, Motocross, was also keeping me very busy.
I was introduced to line dancing by my ex-sister-in-law and quickly developed a great passion and addiction for it. Very soon after this, I became an instructor and an unexpected turn of events lead to me taking over her line dancing association ‘ Route 66 Country Linedancers’. Changing the name of our club to something with a more modern twist to‘DoubleYouB Linedancers’, has proved a riddle for many but it is simply a play on the initials of my name: WB.
Finally a balance was found between teaching country dances and modern dances to suit all tastes With everything moving so fast, I decided to start writing my own dances. My first success, here in the Netherlands, was, amazingly, the first dance I wrote! ’Spirit in the Sky’ by Gareth Gates and lead to a whirlwind of events. Meeting and becoming friends with so many people is a wonderful bonus for me.
But the rocket that launched my career into orbit was meeting my dear friend, Roy Verdonk.
The first dance we wrote together, ‘Shake up the Party’, became a hit in the Netherlands and many European countries. Around this time, Roy and I were also kindly featured in the Linedancer magazine many times. A short time later we had another big hit with a dance called  Rebel Amore, which we choreographed to the  music Rebel De Amor by Belle Perez and also with 1-2-3 Summertime to the music 1-2-3 by El Simbolo. Our dances Travelling Music and Angie have also been taken for competition dances in Europe.
I love teaching and choreographing, I also enjoy being DJ for my own line dance parties and I am pleased to be asked  to DJ at many other line dancing events, including those in other parts of Europe and Great Britain. Seeing all the people enjoying the music and dances that I play gives me an amazing feeling. .I continue to come across challenges in the line dancing world and without the help of certain people, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
